CubaSurf El Cayo Photo Session ft Icah Wilmot, Ametza Nichols, Junior Gomez and Edwin Ten

Cubasurf photo shoot on the spot El Cayo.

Cubasurf photo shoot at the spot known as: “El Cayo”(“The Key”).On 8 February the Cubasurf team, participated alongside Ametza Nicholls (Barbados), Icah Wilmot (Jamaica), Junior Gomez and Edwin Ten, both from (Dominican Republic), in an exclusive photo session, accompanied by Luis Manuel Mazorra, surfer from (Cuba) to share in an unforgettable evening. Although the waves were small, these Caribbean surfer’s maneuvers impressed the cameras and proved who the leaders in the region are.The travel expenses for these visiting surfers were sponsored by the Pan American Surf Association (PASA). In addition to sponsoring the travel of the visiting surfers PASA sponsored a competition between Cuban surfers and these visitors to promote surfing in Cuba. The fruits of this visit and competition were many, among them were the strong friendship developed between these four visiting surfers and Cubasurf, the exposure of international surfing to our Cuban athletes, and the exposure of Cuban surfing and beaches to the world.
